Brilliant. Correctly clocked. Senior landlady took great care of you, very friendly and nice. I slept better in the clocky room than anywhere else on this holiday!

Rudest staff I have ever experienced !!

Another week there used accommodation. An inn that you can rarely visit today. Like from the past. Enchanting and beautifully furnished dining room. You feel 50 years back. Everything was very well maintained and lovingly decorated by the landlords. Homemade specialties. To ask! Breakfast, delicious and versatile with homemade jams, u. v.m., personally prepared by the very friendly landlady on request. Nothing is missing! My room: Absolutely quiet, old-furnished with pine furniture, but super clean, just like the bathroom - with a large shower - could still be from the 1970s. One would like to say back - to - the - roots. It "earths"! Looking forward to the next time in a few weeks.

Even if it sometimes takes bissal, the food is excellent and the service very friendly.

Very friendly and so far everything is ok. But the rooms are a bit old.

The 77-year-old landlady looks after her guests with great passion - thank you for a nice evening surrounded by beautiful flowers.

Small haywire but excellent food

We had to wait over an hour for our food, and then eat one after the other. My girlfriend had already finished her meal for 20min when I got my food. The drinks we got after about 20 minutes, because the service "did not make it" on the terrace to come. There were three tables outside, and three tables on the terrace. It was probably the 80-year-old chef in the kitchen, that nothing was moving forward and had to wait for all eternity for their food. Too bad we had expected something different. Certainly not coming anymore.

This is the second time in this beautiful inn. Tranquil ambience. Caring hostess. Quiet environment. Do not find what I could criticize

Who does not live nearby or is not a regular guest, should rather eat somewhere else. We waited more than an hour for our food and many were served before us (apparently regulars). When we complained, the regulars next to us told us that the cook is an elderly lady who cooks everything by herself. The service could have told us so friendly. We were to 6 and unfortunately I had to eat my food alone, since all were then already finished. With card you can not really pay, because the device must first be searched, really not recommended, too bad!

Very nice inn, the snack plate is recommended! The equipment something to renew would certainly not hurt ..

Old inn, 3 min. from the pedestrian area. DREAMLESS FOOD, all home made, rustic rooms, as in former times ???????

The rooms are old. No TV from the room. Everything looks old. The people are nice but modern is different. Is central and that's it.

You want perfect, good Bavarian cuisine? In a cozy atmosphere? A friendly service? And a boss of the house, who cooks as if you were her grandson, whom she has not seen for years and takes care of you, that you would immediately adopt her as a grandmother? Well, then, to the Zantl! ?

Delicious food, very nice and attentive service!

We were in the afternoon by chance in the sugar sweet inn landed .... We wanted to have a drink and are very graciously greeted by an elderly lady. Have sat beautifully in the beer garden and enjoyed it. Simply idyllic there. And thank you very much for the ball of ice for our mouse. The Crfin then knows for sure who wrote this ☺️

I had the suckling pig and according to the price it shouldn't have been a small portion. However I got a really mediocre portion that left me still hungry. Portion was never a problem in Bavaria. The last drop in the bucket was when another table got the same order but double portion (2 knoeddles instead of 1, 3 slices of meat instead of 1.5) Quality of food is also pretty poor, salad quality is same as a prepacked gas station salad. Avoid, there are much better places around. I was baited here because this was the only restaurant mentioned in the Lonely Planet guide.

I can not share the partially bad reviews. Food was good and also a portion of the one was full. I did not stop the waiting time, but it was definitely appropriate. The service and the ambience were extremely pleasant. All in all, a very pleasant alternative in a tourist crowded city like Bad Tölz. Gladly again!
